A native of Brownsburg, Indiana, Attorney Rachelle N. Ponist, is an experienced litigator primarily representing clients in the areas of family law, general civil litigation, business disputes, estate planning & probate, and criminal defense.
Prior to attending law school, Rachelle attended Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana where she received her Bachelor of Science Degrees in Public Relations and Political Science Pre-Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While attending Indiana Wesleyan University, she was a four-year student-athlete on the Women's Soccer team and received the NAIA Champion of Character Award and numerous Scholar Athlete awards.
After receiving her undergraduate degree, Ms. Ponist decided to pursue her life-long goal of becoming an attorney and attended Indiana University McKinney School of Law, where she was a member of the Deans Tutorial Society. She spent the next few years at a local small firm before venturing out and starting her own firm in 2016.
When not in the office, Rachelle enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also a local attorney, and her family and friends. You will often find her on a variety of sporting fields, playing soccer competitively and coaching a local high school team. She also enjoys playing tennis and pursuing her equestrian interests in the hunter/jumper arena.
